CASINO NIGHT BENEFITS MOMMY’S LIGHT LIVES ON FUND®
Ursinus Business Management Students Host Event as
Course Project
Collegeville, PA – March 27, 2007 –
Incredible glamour, amazing
intrigue, and a worthy cause are in the cards for Monte
Carlo Casino Night, benefiting Mommy’s Light Lives On
Fund®.
Monte Carlo Casino Night is Saturday, April 14,
2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
at Limerick Golf Club in Limerick, PA. Tickets, which
include dinner and $25 worth of starter gambling chips,
are limited to 200 guests and are available for $40
each, $75 per couple or $375 per group of 10 by
contacting the Ursinus Illuminators at 570-204-0925 or
visiting www.mommyslight.org.
The event will be hosted by the Ursinus College
Illuminators, a team of students committed to raising
funds for Mommy’s Light as part of a Business Management
course. This unique hands-on experience will allow them
to run an organization while exploring and experiencing
the choices, decisions and challenges faced by
operational managers. Committee members are Heather
Turnbach, Jason Entezari, Dane Mangin, Christina Manton
and Ashley Willcox.
All proceeds will be donated to Mommy’s Light, a
Delaware-Valley based nonprofit organization that brings
joy and comfort to children and teens, whose mothers
have died or are terminally ill, by helping them keep
alive traditions and simple pleasures they shared. The
non-profit organization relies on corporate and
individual sponsorship to sustain services and cultivate
growth. (www.mommyslight.org)
Guests should dress for a night on the Riviera, ready
for high-stakes Monte Carlo action on real gaming tables
with chips exchangeable for prizes at the end of the
evening. Games include Blackjack, Texas Hold’em Poker,
Roulette, Craps and more. And beware…that beautiful
dame or suave gentleman in the next chair just may be a
double agent!
The event will be held in the Loft, a beautifully
refurnished antique barn overlooking the Limerick Golf
Club. Guests will enjoy a delicious catered dinner
provided by Carrabba’s Italian Restaurant.
Vodka martinis are the drink
of the evening, but a full cash bar also will be
available. In addition to playing their favorite games,
guests are encouraged to participate in several raffles.
For
tickets, more information or to make a donation,
please call Heather Turnbach at 570-204-0925.
