Background:
Mommy’s Light’s mission is to bring joy and comfort
to children and teens whose mothers are terminally
ill or have died by helping them keep alive
traditions and simple pleasures they shared with
their mothers. The 5K Run/Walk was established in
2005 by Hillary DeLone of Downingtown, who decided
to help grieving children after winning her own
battle with cancer.
Fox News Anchor Jennaphr Frederick hosts the
festivities, which include prizes, t-shirts,
complimentary hot breakfast and refreshments for
participants.

Cash prizes for the top
three male/female 5K finishers; awards for the top
three male/female 5K finishers by age group. Food
will be available. All proceeds benefit Mommy’s
Light Lives On Fund.
