Celebrities, Cheerleaders, Mummers Support Mommy’s Light Kids at Area Whole Foods Markets® January 15

 

Philadelphia, PA – January 6, 2004 – Seven area Whole Foods Markets named Mommy’s Light Lives On Fund as Regional 5% Day beneficiary. The stores, located in Devon, Wynnewood, South Street, Callowhill, Jenkintown and North Wales in Pennsylvania and Marlton, New Jersey, will donate five-percent of their January 15th sales to Mommy’s Light, a Delaware Valley-based non-profit organization that brings joy and comfort to young people whose mothers are in life-threatening situations or are deceased.

Local celebrities and cheerleaders from area colleges will make appearances at the stores throughout the day. For more information and a detailed schedule of the day’s events, including free concerts by Sally’s Music Circle and The Mummers for Miracles, see schedule posted below. Please note that this schedule is subject to change and will be updated prior to January 15, 2004.
