Wayne, PA -- June 1, 2003 -- More
than 900 people attended The American Girl Fashion Shows
and Teas hosted by The Saturday Club at Lily Langtry's in
Valley Forge on May 3rd and 4th. The Shows, emceed by
local celebrities Anita Brickman, 6ABC Action News, Jill
Chernekoff, Chernekoff Communications and Pat James
DeMentri, QVC Program Host, featured girls ages 3 to 12
modeling historic and contemporary fashions – from daywear
and sleepwear to special-occasion clothing. The event
raised $32,000 for Mommy's Light Lives On Fund and The
Saturday Club Historic Preservation Fund, with half the
proceeds going to each fund.
"We are thrilled at the level of
community support which helped make this event so
successful in its first year," said Chris Kozeracki, Club
President and Wayne resident. "We are also excited about
providing this level of financial support to two great
organizations which serve our community." The Saturday
Club is a non-profit service organization that has been
serving the Main Line and Greater Philadelphia area

since 1886.
Mommy's Light is a non-profit
organization based in the Delaware Valley that brings joy
and comfort to young people whose mothers are in
life-threatening situations or deceased by helping them
keep alive traditions or simple pleasures they shared with
their mothers.
"We couldn't be happier to have
the tremendous support of The Saturday Club," said Laura
Munts, Mommy's Light President and Downingtown resident.
"The Saturday Club's donation will be used to fund Mommy's
Light's outreach, education and service efforts throughout
